Terry Samsoniuk

Proud Edmonton Resident

About

Terry Samsoniuk is a lifelong Edmonton resident whose life has been defined by hard work, loyalty, and a commitment to helping others. Throughout a career spanning more than three decades, he worked as a construction safety officer, earning the respect of coworkers through his reliability, practical knowledge, and willingness to step in whenever someone needed help. Since retiring, Terry has devoted much of his time to caring for his parents, visiting them nearly every day at their care home. As their power of attorney and personal directive, he assists with medical decisions, finances, shopping, and daily needs while making sure they continue enjoying life together. His close relationship with his parents remains one of the most important parts of his life. Outside of family, Terry spent more than twenty-five years umpiring adult baseball and slo-pitch throughout Edmonton, becoming known for fairness, consistency, and professionalism. Today he enjoys attending local car shows, continuing personal growth through hypnosis training, and looking for opportunities to return to part-time work while continuing to give back to his community.
